Entry into the Sixth Form requires a minimum of 5 x grade 4 Including English and Maths. The 3 pathways you can take have additional requirements as follows:

Pathway 1

3 (or 4) A Levels

This pathway consists of 3 or 4 A levels. From this pathway, students would usually want to go onto university or a level 4 apprenticeship.

Requirements: Most subjects: Grade 5 in your chosen subject (some subjects vary – see individual subject information)

Pathway 2

3 (or 4) Level 3 Vocational Qualifications

This pathway consists of 3 or 4 level 3 vocational courses such as BTEC and Extended Project Qualification.

From this pathway students would usually want to go onto higher education courses, university or a level 4 apprenticeship.

Requirements: Grade 4 in your chosen subject

Pathway 3

A combination of A Levels and Vocational Qualifications

This pathway consists of a combination of A levels and level 3 vocational courses, such as BTEC and an Extended Project Qualification. From this pathway, students would usually want to go onto university or a level 4 apprenticeship.

Requirements: A combination of Pathway 1 and 2 entry criteria
