Moog Controls Ltd (Tewkesbury) – Apprentice Opportunities

Moog Controls are currently recruiting for 8 Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering Apprentices who will start in the business in September 2022. This is a three-year commitment during which they will learn and develop engineering skills and knowledge through onsite work placements, whilst also studying for nationally recognized qualifications.

They will learn a range of skills including assembly of products, machining, and maintenance of equipment. Whilst working towards  a Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing and Engineering.

The first year of the Apprenticeship is based on full-time education at Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET), where you learn practical and theoretical engineering knowledge in a range of subjects.

During their second year, they will rotate around the business in placements, spending time in our core operations departments. The expectation is that they will also attend GET on a day release basis and work towards an NVQ qualification.

In the third and final year, they will specialise in either Manufacturing, Assembly & Test, or Test Equipment and on successful completion of your level 3 qualification, there is the opportunity for them to progress to an HNC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
